It's not the greatest as far as tributes go. Mostly just pictures.

By the way:

You missed the Vietnam War which was a big one for the U.S. and so was Korea. The Gulf war another biggie. Also if you had only lost 60,000 then consider yourselves lucky. In comparison to other countries who have fought in major wars the death toll would be starkly higher. Take Poland as an example. In WWII alone they lost two thirds of their entire population. Forget the number but that's a lot. Anyway I know the toll was higher but I don't expect anyone to ever get an exact number...

The man on the table is Nosu's dead father (who is also the figure who briefly appears in the last shot when lightning strikes). He was a legendary warrior who was captured and tortured by the hired Samurai by and for the Emperor. The Emperor's scientists then stole his heart, soul and most of his intestines to put in Bohh's body. In combination with the sacred amulet Nosu's father wore, Bohh became more powerful than any man and much smarter than any gorilla (with a "Bucket On His Head" for mind control).
Obviously I didn't intend for everyone to read that much into the story. But I thought it through for my own purposes. And who knows... I might continue this story somewhere down the line and make all this 'hidden' information useful.
